Ribbon Star Quilt or Tablerunner

In this workshop students will learn how to make this easy but eye-catching quilt. They will learn techniques for
sewing basic strip units to make the unique blocks. Discover how color placement, different strip widths, and the
number of strips create a variety of designs.

Invisible Machine Appliqué

You too can get the look of hand appliqué using your sewing machine. Reverse appliqué, perfect circles, narrow stems,
smooth curves and more will be covered. This is a technique-oriented class, block pattern included for each student.

Square Deal - Easy Quilts from Squares and Rectangles

Nancy loves to make traditional quilts, but with a new twist. In this class, Nancy will share her favorite and
most valuable timesaving tips. Students will receive one-on-one instructions for using quick-and-easy
piecing techniques. Choose from one of the quilts shown, or select a quilt from Nancy's
Square Deal
book.

Electric Quilt Design Software -

Nancy designs all of her quilts using this versatile and user-friendly software program. A laptop and projector are
used for both lectures and workshops so everyone can see and follow along. For lectures,  your guild or larger
group will see how to develop an idea into a stunning quilt. The audience will participate in designing the final quilt.
In class, students will be given a tour of both programs. Laptop computers for each student are encouraged, but not
mandatory. Students will gain confidence in designing quilts in this fun and informative setting.

Dimensional Hollyhocks

In this fabric manipulation workshop Nancy will show you how to make your quilts jump off the page. Students will make
this whimsical wall hanging, while learning how to manipulate fabrics into fanciful shapes. The new techniques you'll gain
will become part of your quilt design repertoire. Quilt size: 19 1/2" x 24 1/2". Pattern included for each student.

Fusible Appliqué Primer

Explore easy fusible appliqué techniques and learn how to choose the correct fusible web for any project. Discover the
use of decorative stitches, specialty threads, and creative embellishments to create quick projects. This is a
technique-oriented class, block pattern included for each student.

Flower Pot Mini-Quilt

In this workshop, students will learn a variety of techniques to make this darling quilt, including easy machine piecing,

Shown on the cover of Fons and Porter's Love of Quilting magazine, July/August 2009. Students will
learn how to make the big block stars using Nancy's quick and easy piecing techniques. Finish this
