Lectures/Workshops

Zoom workshops or lectures are not available due to slow-speed internet issues in the rural area in which I live.

LECTURES

I offer an informative and entertaining hour-long presentation for quilt guilds or other events. Lectures are a combination of slides and actual quilts.  Contact me for availability.

Scrap Quilts Trunk Show Digital Presentation and trunk show

Looking for something to do with all the scraps you’ve collected in bags, baskets, and boxes? In this informal and light-hearted presentation, Nancy will share more than 50 scraps quilts, including vintage quilts from her collection. Hear how her love of vintage quilts has influenced her approach to quiltmaking. Nancy will share tips for making stunning scrap quilts and expanding your thoughts about making scrap quilts.

Workshops

I enjoy the opportunity of meeting new quilters and sharing my quiltmaking techniques. My classes are project-oriented — which means in class, you’ll learn a technique that can be applied toward making your own quilt — instead of ending the day with just a technique practice sample! Supply lists are provided for each workshop and most workshops include a cutting list so you can make the most of class time. All workshops require a sewing machine and are adaptable to all skill levels. More information about teaching and fees. Contact me for teaching availability.
